  uhm well ill probably just say in a hostel or two for the first week while i look for somewhere to live. Shareflats are the way to go by the looks of it! do you know what your gonna do yet?

  yeah im thinking share flats as well.. hostel to start with decide where i want to be then look into finding a share place.. cant do much until we are there i guess haha just a bit scary not really knowing

  yeah i know, the more i think about what i have to do over there..new job, find a place to live, it freaks me out ahah.. so i kinda just block it out haha. make sure you have accom first week though and know where your staying. Iv heard stories of people getting sent back home on the first flight back to aus for not knowing where they will be staying! :S

  yeah im setting up an account with lloys tsb i have an appointment with them before my contiki.. have you looked into it? thats probably the only thing i have sorted haha still confused with my phone and all of that stuff :s

Yeah i have no idea what to do with my phone either, ill still have like a year left on my contract wich is annoying. I think ill get it unlocked and just buy a sim as soon as i get to heathrow haha. hopefully their sim cards fit haha

  Hey guys, im heading over in july and and doing a few little tours – (running of the bulls, croatian sailing etc) then heading off in a van with a mate for 5 weeks. If anyone is keen to jump in a van as well the more the better haha. After that im staying on in London to find work and he’s coming home, would be good to have some fellow aussies to catch up with. =)

Umm we have a rough idea, probably going to head through Germany, down through Eastern Europe (Hungary, Czech Republic etc into Croatia,) hopefully find some people to do the contiki Croatian island sailing with, then through Italy down into Spain for the tomato fight in Valencia and up through France into Amsterdam then back into munich for oktoberfest. So if you are doing any tours through those areas around August September let me know. :) do you guys have any idea what area of London you are going to try and get a share house in??

  Yeah, I have heard from so many ppl not to miss out on Croatia. That was the main reason we are doing it in the van, no restrictions on where we can go, and as long as we get to the start point of our tours on time we will be sweet. When is your tour ??

  I’m not to sure where ill be looking yet, all depends on where and what type of work I get I guess. If you want an idea for money, you should look at getting a travelex card now. That way you can watch and when the exchange rate goes up you can go online and transfer your Australian money onto it at a higher rate. Then when you arrive you already have a card full of pounds or euros ready to go.

  Yeah it’s good, if you transfer at the right time, depending how much your transferring on it can make a bit of a difference. Just look on the travelex website and have a read, but it’s a good idea for when your first go over.
