can duty free alcohol be taken on tour?

I was wondering if I bought alcohol duty free on the way out of Australia would I be able to take it on my European Vista tour? I know we go through customs going into France so are there restrictions?

You can absolutely take it with you! I did at least haha and so did several other people on my tour. Contiki doesn’t care whether you bring alcohol or not, you’re just not generally supposed to drink it on the bus. But if it’s in your luggage, it’s no big deal. Also, on the way into France, we didn’t go through customs at all – didn’t even have to show our passports or anything. :)
