Extra Activities - Rafting on Shotover

Hi<BR>I was looking at doing the twin challenge, but Im not sure about the rafting. Im from Aus and I do alot of kayaking here and Grade 3 rapids aren't that exciting for me. Was just wondering what anybody thought it regards to the rafting?

    I think you may have answered your own question. I would suspect though, that waters during the spring are a little more challenging from the melting snow.

    Taken w/ a grain of salt, ask the oprators of that activity the same question.

    In my opinion though for a higher and bone chilling adrenaline rush, I would recommend Mad Dog River Rafting instead. See video

    I was looking at the Mad Dog River Rafting, but on the website it said they were open from October, I think that our last day in Queenstown is on the 1st so Im not sure if I can fit it in, it looks like fun but

    They do winter runs as well – just that you layer 2 wetsuits on due to the cold.
