Getting to the Paris Accommodation.

Hi, my girlfriend and I are doing the european escapade in september but are joining the tour in Paris. does anyone know how to get to the Paris accommodation from central paris? i.e. buses/trains to take?

Also will we miss out on much by joining the tour here? What time should we expect to meet the tour?
