Sleeping bag & Luggage????

Hi!
I'm on the European Contrasts which is a concept tour so I'm supposed to bring a sleeping bag,
my question is about where the sleeping bag goes on the plane. Do they count it as onboard luggage and just pay extra for it, or am I supposed to fit it in my big suitcase???

Never mind, I think I’ll just buy one when I get there – didn’t realise Contiki Basement sells them. :)
