Winter wanderer?

  I’m looking at doing a contiki in Nov/Dec this year and I was set on Wanderer until I saw the Wuropean Vista. I was thinking that for the price it’s better to do the European Vista for 21 days than to do the Winter Wanderer for 24, as far as I could see the only difference was going to Spain. The Vista with all its extras works out to about the price of the Wanderer. Either way I think both would be great, but if you’re on a tight budget Vista would probably be better.

  I did have a look at the Vista, but I think I crossed it off my list because I wanted to be in Europe a little longer. But hey I’ll be traveling October/ November so we may cross paths!! Haha! I also kinda liked the idea of Spain too! Have you ever been on a contiki before? :)

  I haven’t done a contiki before but I’ve been planning it as long as I can remember, because my mum did a 21 day tour (the first 3 week tour they offered) in 1976 and she loved it so much. I have a few friends who have gone in winter and loved it. I’ve just started buying bits and pieces to take with me.

  Yeah I’ve heard many good things about then from friends and one friend is currently doing one in the USA! So I’ll see what she says when she gets back! :) I’m doing the winter wanderer on my lonesome so I hope to meet wonderful people on my journey!! :)

  I’m thinking of doing the winter wanderer on the 9th December becoz you will have New Years in Amsterdam !! Very crazy lol. I did the USA contiki last Christmas it was the most fun I’ve ever had :-) you meet great people over there I’m still talking to most of them 2 months after the tour. Thought I’d better try Europe this time

  Heyyy! I think I might do the Winter Wanderer in mid November (15th i think it leaves) I’m pretty excited, haven’t travelled around Europe before! I’ll be doing it solo too! :)
