Yes, I’ll be on the New York uncovered tour with you guys. I figured it was the best way to see the city in a short space of time. I was in New Orleans last year for Halloween but I arrived in the evening after a long flight so I didn’t stay out too long. From what I saw it was pretty insane! Need to hit it properly this year and get some fancy dress sorted.

Hahaha yeah definately!! How much are you looking at saving for it if you don’t mind me asking! i’m just trying to get a ball park figure

Well, when i did the Southern Adventure tour I probably spent £1000 (including all the optionals and a little bit of retail therapy). I’m quite careful with my money and I also didn’t do the hot air balloon ride in Albuquerque or the helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon because I hate heights. Those were both very expensive. BUT, i also went out nearly every night, so it’s swings and round abouts. So I’m budgeting £1500 for my New York Uncovered and Eastern Discovery tours. Will probably want to have £2k saved up just in case though…

Yeah I’m thinking about round that sort of figure too! I’m living in canada for the mean time then i head back to NZ once i finish in the states so I’ve got to be reasonably careful and try not to buy much more stuff then i have here! Cause I’ve already brought heaps!!

Eeeeeek, starting to get super excited now. I have a few days before my New York tour starts so I was thinking of heading out a few days early. Maybe spend a few days in Chicago or Boston. Anyone been to these cities or have any other ideas?

Thanks Sam! You too! . I don’t think I’m going solo anymore. Haha. I’m still so excited! My friend Mel and I get in NY on October 17 at around 8PM, I do believe…. I’m tied whether I’ll be anti social that night or try venture out to meet everyone haha. I wish the tour was going to those places too :( But alas, I’m thinking that New Orleans for Halloween will be veeeeeery interesting… and very fun! :D
