Europe Encounter whose gone what to expect?

HIIII my boyfriend and i have our hearts set on doing the Europe Encounter this Christmas to New Year.... what can we expect, how was your trip, were the "extras" worth it, what should we do on our "me time"... were the paid dinners worth it or should we explore and try to find our own places to eat..... HELP, i've never been to Europe
