NZ - June/july or September
- 11 responses so far
I am also looking at traveling to New Zealand in late june early july. I have the concern that a lot of the activities such as skydiving, bungee, water rafting ect will most likely not be happening so if anyone has any info on this. or whats the best months to go would be appreciated.
No reason any of those wouldnt be happening
during the winter. Unless the weather turns ugly. Queenstown exists on that kind of stuff.
Also, if your into snow, its generally better
by sept (early spring)
thanks that helped me decide and book lol
Hit me up if you go in July!! I’m keen as for the Grand Adventurer/Explorer
Well i am booked for the Grand Explorer june 23 to july 7th looking 4ward to it except that there hasn’t been many replys for people going at this time
wat date u thinking of going?
Is there actually anyone out there going june 23 to july 7? starting to think i might hav 2 re-book with a different date or something
get back 2 me please
I really wouldn’t worry about how many people post things on Contiki’s website. I’ve done 4 Contiki trips & about 80% of the people on the tour didnt even know about Contiki’s website. I am doing the Grand Adventure starting in Christchurch on July 5th & Contiki just told me to check with them 45 days prior to departure to see if the tour is still on…but I really would pay too much on who posts. Hope this help somewhat.
yeah it puts my mind at ease haha thanks
hi, i was just wondering from experience would people say it’s better in the later months, i was thinking late september to go to do the grand explorer?
I"m booked in to Ski Queenstown. Starting 27th July 08.
feel free to say hi if your coming on this tour
