Question

Best Roller Coaster?

Hi All

I will get a chance to go to Disneyland, Las Vegas and Disneyworld. I am just wondering out of those places which people would suggest as the best rollercoaster. I have never been on one before so I am pretty excited about that!

Cheers

My favourite ride at Disneyland is Big Thunder Mountain.

The one at NY NY is cool because of where you are and what you see. but it’s a rip off for what they charge.

If you want a rush the Aerosmith at disney world’s Hollywood Studios. Or Hulk at Universal Islands of adventure – there is also the dueling dragons ride there.

At Disney World the Aerosmith ride is the best by miles, all the rest are for little kids but when I went they were building the Everest ride at Animal Kingdom.
If you have time in Florida do The Hulk at Universal Studios Orlando and/or go to Busch Gardens in Tampa (Montu was my fave)
In California I didn’t go to Disney, instead I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain but it’s tricky/expensive to get there as it’s an hour away from Anaheim where you leave for your Contiki tours.
Vegas- New York coaster was pretty good and it goes at night but the rides on top of Stratosphere were the scariest I’ve ever been on. The one at Sahara wasn’t operating and the rides inside Circus Circus’ big tent were more sideshow rides.

Expedition Everest at the Animal Kingdom is a good rollercoaster – good theme and intense but the rest of the park isn’t worth the 1 day admission. Also, this does not go upside down.

As for the comment that the rest of the rides are for little kids, their tame, but not that tame. Their tame for adults, but quite intense for kids. They’re well suited for tweens and not overly adventurous adults. The art in them is the theme, not the intensity.
