parks and jogging in Europe

Hi all,
I'm a pretty active person and I was wondering if there were any parks or other areas that are a good outlet for jogging. First and foresmost, of course, I plan to have fun and sightsee with the group but during down time would love to get to see the places we're visting by jogging. I'll be visiting Paris, Amsterdam, Lucerne, Barcelona and Rome. I know from past travel that jogging isn't as big a thing in Europe as in the States so if anyone has any suggestsions of places (parks or otherwise) where it might be somewhat common (and safe), let me know.
