I have heard that we spend a night out in monte carlo at the casinos where everyone gets all dressed up....does anyone recommend bringing a dress for this or what kind?

Peruse the travelogues. Many have plenty of pics, and use them as guidance. Nothing formal required – just be comfortable.

If you like to dress up and you are going when it’s warm bring a dress. Everyone gets dressed up and it’s a bit of fun…why not…other people will probabaly wear dresses to but you could also wear a skirt or nice dressy pants and a nice top…Whatever you feel comfortabel in Smiler<!--graemlin::)-->

Just came back from there. You should dress semi formal. Jeans are not permitted, I do not T-shirts are either. There is a 10euro cover charge. Personally I did not think it is worth it. There is another Casino right beside it where there is no cover or dress code, younger crowd and more lively. The Monte Carlo is very silent. You will like all the nice cars parked out fron though.
