ATMs in Croatia and London

I know travellers cheques are not practical but what major credit cards/bank cards are accepted in croatia and the UK?
i am from New zealand and only have a visa credit card? is that going to be useable? or should i get a mastercard?
Any help appreciated please!

Matty is so smart! Definitely take two cards if you can get another one; there’d be nothing worse than getting stuck somewhere with no cash!

yes im going to Split and wil travel the coast of croatia so thanks for that ill make sure i hav the right currency!
im in croatia travelling for 2 weeks before i meet up and do the london 2 paris contiki in mid june! woohoo!- 0 people like this
