Worth bringing a laptop?

  To me it is worth the peace of mind to have most of my valuables safe at home and the minimum amount with me on vacation.
  
  Also, if you do bring a laptop, make sure you securely clean off any “adult” material because what’s legal in one country (especially the US) can get you in deep trouble in another country. In some situations it is legal for customs or police to search the contents of your computer.

  kevin it doesn’t sound like you’re a good candidate for taking your laptop. If you do you should be willing to carry it around most of the time. You would rarely have to, but there are times when it’s not safe to leave it anywhere else.
