Hi All,
I'm doing LA to the Bay in July 2009 and I'm staying in San Fran for another week or so at the end of the tour. I've booked the HI San Fran City Centre but have heard it's in a dodgy area - would I be better staying at the HI San Fran Downtown? Or somewhere else totally different?? I'm having trouble deciding as both seem to have their pros and cons and as a single female traveller, I want to be sure that I'm in the best place!
