Went to Greece last Sept. Weather was fabalous! Airfare was cheaper since it is just out of tourist season. I went Sept 8th so it was in the beginning. Great for the beach, water was still warm. Totally recommend it!

I did mid-late Sept GIH tour.
Athen: hot 30C+
Islands: Warm-hot during the day … (could be) cool and windy during the evenings.

I was there in Sept twards the end and it was about 80 degs and humid. Wear breathable light weigh clothing with spf. My friend got really dehydrated in Athens and had to cool off in the metro which is a cool place to walk through as well. make sure you go to the archaology museum.
