365 days. The time it takes our precious planet to revolve around the sun. It’s also the amount of time we’re committed to delivering a real change though our conservation efforts.

We asked you to let us know what change you’ll be making for 2012 Earth Week for the chance to travel with the Contiki team & Celine Cousteau to Mexico to dive the Mesoamerican Reef & be a part of a short film on conservation with our cause partners, the MAR leadership program.

Over 1000 amazing people submitted entries through our app on Facebook or by using the hashtag #contikichange. From initiatives people are planning around the world in their homes, universities & local communities, to big dreams involving international awareness & effort, the entries are truly inspirational. At Contiki, we are so proud of the enthusiasm & passion our friends and passengers have for environmental conservation.

So did you win!? We are currently collating all of the entries and sifting out the best initiatives. Out of these, the top two will be selected by Celine Cousteau and will be off on the experience of a lifetime.

The prize? A 6 day Yucatan Highlights tour with Contiki PLUS 4 days diving with Celine and the MAR leaders on the Mesoamerican reef, a PADI dive course, the opportunity to be in a short film on conservation and all flights & accommodation. Pretty sweet deal!
