In simple terms, Contiki (and our Travel Corporation sister companies) save over 54,000 trees per year. Using recycled paper means we are using fewer trees, sending less waste to landfills & consuming 20% less energy making the paper.

The tree fibre used to make our paper is also multi-forest certified – we have got the seal of approval by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) & a Blue Angel Certificate. Plus, the paper making process used to produce our paper is chlorine free, meaning less dioxin is released into our waterways. On top of all this a super filtration process means the paper mill returns the water back into the environment cleaner than when it came in. We are proud to commit to using what is one of the most environmentally friendly coated recycled papers on Planet Earth.
