The Pantheon is one of the most complete and perfect examples of ancient Roman architecture anywhere in the world. Still a functioning Catholic Church today, it is free to go inside and see the amazing oculus in the roof along with the tomb of Raphael among others. Easily one of the highlights of Rome.

  1. If you want a good tour of the Pantheon for cheap meet www.angeltoursrome.com outside on the steps at 7pm each day. They do a free tour of the Pantheon. The guides carry an umbrella with angels on it.
