Art Galleries and Museums - Sydney

People don’t often travel to Sydney for the art and museums but the city has some great opportunities and experiences for those who take the time to indulge.
The Art Gallery of New South Wales, on the edge of Hyde Park in Sydney showcases what is arguably the greatest collection of art in the country while Circular Quay is home to the Museum of Contemporary Art which often displays outstanding modern Australian and international collections.
Sydney is also home to The Australian Museum, the Powerhouse Museum, Hyde Park Barracks and the Museum of Sydney while star-watchers will enjoy the Sydney Observatory.
