The city is also within easy reach of the nearby islands or <a href="/contikipedia/articles/ibiza">Ibiza</a>, Majorca and Menorca.</p> <p>People travel to Barcelona for the promise and allure of hot, wild summer nights, lazy siestas, food, color and flair that Spain is so well known for.
