Cape Tribulation is one of the least accessible towns along the Queensland East Coast and is just north of Cairns and Port Douglas in the wet tropics of North Queensland.

Although the Great Barrier Reef runs almost the entire length of the Queensland coast, it is only here that the rainforest meets the reef as the lush, green, wet, tropical Daintree Rainforest literally makes its way down to the perfect blue ocean and golden sand of the beaches of the tropical Pacific.

Being on the edge of the Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation provides easy access to what is one of the most incredible and diverse eco-system not only in Australia, but the world.

Beaches

The beaches of Cape Tribulation are rated the lucky few who have visited them as being among the most spectacular in the world. The beaches though, like the rest of the Cape Tribulation region, are so remote that you can often find yourself totally alone on miles and miles of deserted sand.
