Once you have booked and paid for your tour and your tour departure have been confirmed, you will receive your Contiki travel documents in the mail. They should arrive roughly 3 weeks before your tour departs.

Your Contiki travel documents you receive in the mail includes:

If you are leaving before your travel documents should arrive, you can call Contiki (or your Travel Agent) and ask them if the tour departure date is confirmed, and if so, can they please send your documents out earlier. If not, Contiki can e-mail you your travel documents and vouchers.

If you leave home and haven’t received your travel documents, it’s not the end of the world, as long as your tour departure date is confirmed (and so is your booking and payment) you’ll be fine. Just ask Contiki to e-mail the documents and vouchers and you can just print them out while you’re away from home.

Likewise, if you book just before the start of the tour with no time for mailing, Contiki will email or fax you your documents.

  1. Hi, I am travelling with a friend and we tried calling Contiki direct to get confirmation, however they would not speak to us and told us we had to get our agent to call. We explained that our agent has been away (and has not been particuarly helpful anyway), but the person on the other end said that they were unable to confirm anything.

  2. Ya, as long as you booked both tours as the same time, no problems…if you didn’t book them at the same time, just let Contiki or whoever booked your tour know so they can get all the documents to you before you leave.

  4. If you’re planning on leaving for your trip early, then let Contiki or your travel agent know so they can try and get the documents out to you early or make some other arrangements.
