London has loads of free museums and sights, great for people traveling on a budget.

Russell Square Area


Southbank is also home to the London Dungeon, The London Eye, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and St Pauls Cathedral is across the river.

Trafalgar Square Area

Also in the Trafalgar Square area is Leichester Square, Covent Garden, The West End and Picadilly Circus. It’s also a nice stroll down The Mall, past St James Park, to Buckingham Palace. Big Ben and the houses of Parlament are also close enough to walk.


Kensington is also famous for Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and Gardens, classy shopping on Kensington High Street and Harrods that are all worth checking out while you’re in the area.
