The Galleria San Marco Glass Factory in Venice provides free glass blowing demonstrations to Contiki Tours visiting Venice, Italy. Although the island of Venice itself is not famous in itself for glass blowing, the island of Murano, just north of the city is world renowned for its glass making.

The San Marco Glass Factory employs some of the most well known and most creative ‘maestros’ in Venice and also sells authentic, hand made Venetian glass.

“To see an experienced authentic glass blower make a vase or a horse ın a matter of seconds, right before your eyes is a very cool experience… everyone leaves sayıng `whoa… how’d he do that!´”

- David Semmens, Tour Manager, Europe

  5. I visited the factory in June 2011. What an incredible experience. I made several purchases and they have arrived timely and safely. The email address for Galleria San Marco is acs@galleriasanmarco.it. They’re phone is 39 041 2718413. I took the information from my sales receipt. I am looking for a website. If someone finds one, we’d love the info!

  10. Hi guys, i work for the glass gallery in Venice.

Every visit we guest from a Contiki tour its a unic event of fun, relax and even sexy and romantic feelings.

We should work there to make some profit, but when a Contiki comes trough we feel the beauty of young lovejoy going into our veins.

Your smile, your sense of fun, good living life and happyness makes us all felling young and happy.. it happens even to the oldest employers.

Than doesnt matters at all if you buy some glass of our masters or not, cause we feel paid already inside us as soon as we see your beaty.

Have fun and relax with us like we do with you, we will experience a memorable romantic moment of art, spicy or sweet .. up to you.

And always remember that if you are running short of money, you can always be my guests for a good italian pasta and a cup of wine; i live 5 minutes far from S.Mark square.
