When people hear the name ‘Ibiza’ only one word springs to most peoples minds…clubs. Even if people have no idea where this Spanish island paradise is, they know of the islands party and clubbing reputation, and rightfully so. With unarguably some of the worlds best clubs, Ibiza is a veritable paradise for party animals and sun-worshipers alike.
Although it’s reputation is built on insane nights out and some of the best dance music in the world, the island itself is as, if not more, beautiful than any in the Mediterranean.
Well know and popular amongst the British, the rich, famous not to mention beautiful young people of both Spain and Italy flock here and easily outnumber the young Brits. The island however is also a very popular holiday spot for English families. Beautiful beaches, perfect clear water and sunny skies combine to make Ibiza an absolute summer paradise. The island is also easily one of the best places to experience European beach culture.
Ibiza is home to some of the best and most awarded clubs in the world. For the hard core dance club addicts this is it, nirvana, it does not get any better than this anywhere in the world. Period. The super star DJ’s of the world are headline performers literally every night of the week during summer. Usually a pre-purchased ticket is needed to get into the clubs and are available from they myriad of outlets in the hotels and towns. Although not cheap, the standard of entertainment is concert-worthy.
Space is easily one of the best known and also has incarnations in places like Mykonos, Greece and Miami USA. This however is the original and the best and was voted best club in the world in 2004, 05 and 06.
Space is regularly home to the biggest mega star acts of the summer. Pacha is one of the best known and most prolific clubs in the world with ‘franchises’ all over Spain, Germany and even in New York.

Only on the very biggest nights of the summer however would they even come close to fulfilling this potential with much of its cavernous interior remaining closed off. It does however also incorporate a pool most nights. Across the road is Amnesia famously hosts some of the biggest names in house music while it is probably most famous for it’s absolutely insane foam parties.
Ibiza town is filled with small bars and restaurants and are great places to chill out during the day, wind down after a huge night or place to get ready to do it all again. For over 25 years though the Cafe del Mar has been producing some of the best chill out and lounge music in the world. Located right on the edge of the water just outside San Antonio town it is the perfect place to watch the sun set during the evening or just soak up the vibe during the day.
The Bora Bora Bar on the beach is filled with sun lounges and umbrellas during the day and really starts to crank up around mid afternoon. By the time the sun has set the jugs of sangria start flowing and the barely-clad clientele party the night away on the podiums and tables.
Ibiza is wreathed in beautiful sand beaches. It does not matter where you go on the Island you will find sandy bays and beaches edging on down to the azure blue of the Mediterranean filled with sun lounges, umbrellas, holiday makers and beautiful people sunning themselves in golden warmth of the Spanish sun. The Playa den Bossa, Playa de Talamanca are just two of the hot spots for a bit of sand, sun and relaxation.
