Should you miss your tour on departure day contact the hotel reception where the tour was staying. Every effort will be made to help you catch up with your tour but you will be responsible for any travel or other expenses incurred.
Your hotel address and contact details for your next destination will be included as part of your Contiki Travel Documents.

It’s good to have the details on our Contiki brochure as stated, in a country where English is not a second/third language, it can be scary, it nearly happened to me in Nam, best to also make friends quickly who can always knock at your room-door on their way down to the coach / you can phone each other timeously to remind one another, this helped me a lot

The Tirol is one of the most beautiful parts of the world. If you visit Hopfgarten, visit the trout farm - you can catch a fish, then have it for lunch!
German beer is all organic so you cant get hang overs - I dare you to test it! ;D FYI - make sure you have cash ahead of time because they don't take plastic and there isn't an ATM in sight!
The lodge that was stayed in was beyond my expectations! Beautiful! Make sure you check out the lodge's hot tub (breathtaking view) and the ice bar!
