In-Depth Regional Tours
Last Updated: 12th Apr 2013

Contiki’s In-Depth Regional Tours go into a heart of a region or country. Spend time in Europe’s greatest cities but also go further to get a real feeling for you chosen destination.
Our regional tours start in major European centers including Rome, Madrid, Berlin and Barcelona and focus on countries, regions and specific areas like Italy, Spain, Greece, Tuscany, Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean.
In-Depth Regional Tours provide the advantages of group travel in Europe (great value for money, coach/train/ferry transport and local knowledge) in individual cities. These styles of tour are very independent and you are usually met by a local Contiki representative at your hotel who can help out you and other Independent Getaway travellers with finding your feet in the city.
The London and Paris tour, for example, is fully escorted with the option to independently extend your stay in Paris, Rome, or Amsterdam. The Rome and Amsterdam extensions feature an un-escorted train connection where a local Contiki representative will greet you in your ‘add-on’ city. You will be transferred to the hotel and provided with local information on the day of arrival.
