Visiting Lake McKenzie on Fraser Island is an experience that will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.
The sheer natural beauty of the lush, green surroundings, pure white sands and even purer crystal clear blue of the water is unforgettable.
The nature of the lake itself is simply amazing. One of the many perched lakes on the Island, it exists well above sea level on a sand island surrounded by the salt water of the sea. The water of the Lake however is one hundred percent pure fresh water.
A great way to visit the lake is by taking a 4 Wheel Drive Guided Tour of the island with one of the local guides. This is an awesome place to visit and an even better place to take a swim on a hot summers day. Lake McKenzie is Fraser Island at its absolute best.

For ladies I would definitely recommend finding some slightly nicer than normal black flats... I bought some in Prague for super cheap and still wear them all the time!
If you are doing a time out tour (staying in hotels), a travel iron/hairdryer will come in handy as many european hotels do not provide these facilities.
German beer is all organic so you cant get hang overs - I dare you to test it! ;D FYI - make sure you have cash ahead of time because they don't take plastic and there isn't an ATM in sight!
