the las vegas strip

There are a myriad of casinos in Las Vegas, not only along the Strip but on the side streets as well. Here is a sample of some of the more famous, fun and spectacular ‘palaces’ in Sin City. Every casino in the city is host to their own bars and clubs that stay open until the early hours. It is totally legal to drink in the street, often casino waitresses will bring free drinks (don’t forget to tip your waitress) to people playing the tables.

The Bellagio

The Bellagio oozes style, class and sophistication. The combination of the huge fountains and lights going off in perfect sync with the music is truly spectacular. The unmistakable Statue of Liberty combine with the New York skyline and even a mini-Brooklyn Bridge in one of the cities most enjoyable and fun casinos. Also home to the sensational ‘Coyote Ugly’ Bar.

  3. I have to admit that reading this blog makes it very tempting to go to Vegas. But I spent too much time there a few years ago and ran up too much debt. I finally got some credit card relief now and don’t want to risk getting into debt again. If I do back, it will be with cash only after I have saved enough. It is such a fun city. I hope I can meet my goals and make it back someday.

  6. Great information. Horrible spelling. Not quite up to the Contiki standard.

  7. For a great view of the city (especially at night) go to the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris. It also offers a great vantage point for viewing the water show at the Bellagio.
