Germany is well known for its crazy nightlife and Munich very often lives up to this party reputation. Although the weekdays are generally quiet, most people start big nights out in one of the city’s many excellent beer halls or beer gardens, this is an experience in itself and can often be enough even for the hard-core party animals.
Club-a-holics should definitely travel out via taxi to the Kultfabric near the Ostbahnhof train station. The whole are claims to be Europe’s most concentrated collection of bars and clubs and with 21 major bars, its easy to believe. Although the weekends are packed, there is the occasional club open during the week with the locals not really stepping out until 11 or 12 o’clock in the evening.
