Olympic Stadium - Montreal

The Olympic Stadium and surrounding venues in Montreal were built for the 1976 Summer Olympics. The stadium’s tower was completed a little later, in 1988 or 12 years after the Olympics. Budgeting was a little off; in fact, the games were 1200% over budget and were finally paid off 30 years later in 2006. Montreal is one of Canada’s two Olympic Cities along with Vancouver.

The Olympic Stadium is a little bit far off downtown, but definitely worth a visit!

Vancouver for the 2010 winter olympics, but Calgary also hosted the 1988 winter olympics too !!!

My advice would be to do as many excursions as you can. They are a great way to get to know your group, and they are always good fun.
I travelled on the European Contrasts tour in May 2006 with my boyfriend. We had 5 couples on our tour. We all had a great time and did not have any hassles being that we were couples.
