Power Adaptors for South America

<p>In Argentina and Peru the voltage is 220-240v. In the parts of Brazil that we will be visiting, the voltage is usually 110v although some hotels may have 220v plugs. If you are from a country with different voltage, you will need a transformer and possibly also an adaptor. Some travel transformers are also adapters and for ease of use these are recommended instead of buying a separate transformer and adaptor.</p> <p>The two types of electric outlets that you find in Argentina are:</p> <ol> <li>Type C – European 2-pin Electrical outlet</li> <li>Type I – Australian outlet</li> </ol> <p>The two types of electric outlets that you find in both Brazil and Peru are:</p> <ol> <li>Type A North American/Japanese 2-blade</li> <li>Type C – European 2-pin Electrical outlet</li> </ol>
