I was booked in to stay at the Queenstown lodge…showed up and there was a sign on the door saying it was shut down…...don’t know if that will be changing.

Recent Tips
For a great view of the city (especially at night) go to the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris. It also offers a great vantage point for viewing the water show at the Bellagio.
Make sure you try currywurst in Germany. It's basically a hot dog with tomato sauce (ketchup) and curry powder. Tastes brilliant and only costs 1 or 2 Euro.
I went alone last summer (06). I met some wonderful people…I liked it so much, that I am going on the London + Paris trip next week (alone again).
