Budapest is such an amazing city, while it has so much to offer, you just cant miss the Budapest river cruise. Its magic, with a huge buffet of all of Hungrys’ finest foods. You’ve got salads, cold meats, fresh fruit and even seafood but you can’t go past my favourite – the Hungarian Goulash! After a feast fit for a king, why not sit back and enjoy a few cold drinks looking out to one of the most beautiful city skylines you will ever see.

The Night Cruise along the Danube River in Budapest is amazing! Watch and hear about all the beautiful building from the cities heyday of the late 19th to early 20th Century, all the while eating a feast of Hungarian food and sipping the odd bit of wine and chatting to your new friends on the top deck!

One of Europe’s most beautiful cities looks great by day, but when you see it at night, it’s up there with Paris in terms of the spectacular lights and photo opportunities.
Top that off with a guide telling you about the buildings and what they mean to Hungarians and then add in a buffet dinner that includes goulash, caviar, meats, salads and cakes topped off with a champagne and some wine. A fantastic time had by all!
The River Cruise With Dinner is offered as an optional excursion on Contiki Europe Tours visiting Budapest.

We have done an amazing river cruise in Budapest on August 20 when there are fireworks over the river Danube and the whole thing is truly amazing (it is always beautiful but this was the most special event ever)
