San Diego is a beautiful, usually quite sunny city and the Harbour Cruise, as the very first group activity, is something worth participating in because it is a great way to meet and greet your fellow group members. There are also dozens of photo opportunities including the city skyline, sea lions, military ships and more while a guide points at things. It is a great opportunity to see things on the water.

In a city that receives about 300 days of sunshine annually, perhaps the best way to gain proper perspective of San Diego Harbor, and the city that continues to grow up around it, is by embarking on this scenic and leisurely cruise.
Your cruise lasts an hour and is narrated by your captain, who is well-versed in the city’s history, it’s rich maritime and military heritage and little-known facts that are sure to make your eyebrows rise. And because the cruise takes place on the first day of the tour, the best aspect by far is having your first opportunity to get to know all your fellow travelers in a relaxed atmosphere!
