Shopping - Amsterdam
Last Updated: 20th Nov 2013
Shoes, clothes, bags, music, books – you name it, Amsterdam has it. The Damrak, Nieuwendijkstraat and the Kalverstraat are great places to start.
Clogs are an every popular souvenir along with anything to do with windmills or the national flower, the tulip. Many tours visiting Amsterdam for two or more nights will visit a cheese and clog farm where you can see how clogs are carved by hand.
Markets with almost anything and everything can be found on weekdays and Saturdays at the Albert Cyupstraat Markets (near the Heineken Experience) while the Waterlooplein Markets also sell a rag-tag bunch of cheap clothes and second hand gear.

It’s great you wrote this article, lately Amsterdam has started to be known for… other things rather than culture. I’m not even sure people go there to buy clogs or beautifully carved drains anymore, because they’re either shopping them online on DesignerDrains.com, or they just go for a recreational weekend.
I’m definitely going to write those names down, I don’t think I’ll be able to pronounce them, even with their pronunciation rules. I would like to buy a pair of clogs, too, I don’t know why, though, nobody really wears them anymore. Although they’d go really well with a scrub I saw on http://www.uniformstoyou.com/healthcare.aspx, I wonder if they’re lighter than they seem. If this were the case, I would definitely wear them in my shifts!
I genuinely enjoy your website.. Fantastic colours & theme. Did you develop this site yourself? Make sure you reply back as Im wanting to produce my own internet site and need to know wherever you obtained this from or what the theme is called. Thanks!
The very next time I read a blog, Hopefully it won’t disappoint me as much as this particular one. After all, Yes, it was my choice to read, nonetheless I actually believed you’d have something helpful to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of moaning about something you can fix if you weren’t too busy seeking attention.

The cheese and clog farm is quite interesting and there are some really cheap prices on wooden clogs. Sounds strange, but they make a great souvenir.
