Shopping - Athens
Last Updated: 22nd May 2013
For some great shopping travel down to the markets in the Plaka district for an experiance that is a must for anyone who travels to Athens. Maps are useless in the small district in the shadow of the Acropolis and the best thing to do is just wander around through the markets and stall and loose yourself amongst the jewelry, shoe, retail and tourist stalls. The shopping in Athens, like the rest of Greece, is a little cheaper than the rest of Europe and you will find most of the retail store in the city along the Ermou, stretching west from Syntagma Square.
Just outside the city is the very cool suburbs of Gylfada – host to much of the 2004 Olympics and also home to some great outlet and retail shopping.

I didn’t know things are cheaper in Athens than in the rest of the Europe. I want to open a business, but I need to purchase a lot of stuff. I’ve already considered to buy hair cutting scissors at XtremeShears.com, but I’ll make sure to check the prices in Greece, too!
