Shopping - Athens
Last Updated: 10th May 2013
For some great shopping travel down to the markets in the Plaka district for an experiance that is a must for anyone who travels to Athens. Maps are useless in the small district in the shadow of the Acropolis and the best thing to do is just wander around through the markets and stall and loose yourself amongst the jewelry, shoe, retail and tourist stalls. The shopping in Athens, like the rest of Greece, is a little cheaper than the rest of Europe and you will find most of the retail store in the city along the Ermou, stretching west from Syntagma Square.
Just outside the city is the very cool suburbs of Gylfada – host to much of the 2004 Olympics and also home to some great outlet and retail shopping.

I always thought Athens was the perfect place to visit if you want to see ancient culture. I was pretty surprised to see that they had a lot of commercial spaces and I thought I had just got rid of them. Just before I went in this holiday I searched for a temperature compensated crystal oscillator at frequencymanagement.com.
