When people travel Europe they usually associate shopping with Italy, Paris and London and the range, prices and accessibility of shopping in Vienna is often a welcome surprise.

The capital of Austria has an excellent variety of shopping at spread across three major areas in the city. The main shopping mall in the heart of the city along the Kartnerstrasse provides a mix of cafes and retail while an even greater variety can be found along the Mariahilferstrasse, a street radiating out from the city centre. On the outskirts of the city you will also find the SCS, (Shopping City Sud) and what is acclaimed to be Europe’s largest shopping district. Shop-a-holics will not be disappointed.
