During the peak of summer its shoulder to shoulder clubbing chaos as locals and tourists alike cut some serious rug on the dance floor, sing like rock stars at the karaoke and mix it up in true cheesy and sleazy Space Discoteque style.

Open every night of the week this two floor club usually has karaoke downstairs and a huge dance floor upstairs. Popular with people and groups from all over the world, you are as likely to run into somebody from your home town as you are a Florentine local but it is guaranteed to go off 7 nights a week.

The Karaoke is always popular with the Contiki groups rolling in from Tuscan Dinners around 10 and 11 o’clock and even the shyest of the shy often find themselves in a crowd wailing out Bon Jovi, Blink 182, Madonna and almost anything else while the hard core stay on to rock the podiums until closing time and sip from the huge list of beverages at the cocktail bar.

Space Electronic Discoteque (official site) is the biggest night club in Florence, Italy and is offered as an optional excursion on Contiki Europe Tours visiting Florence.

  2. Agreed! If you lose your drink ticket, they have to assume you filled the whole thing! They’ll just charge you for a full ticket! : (
