The Royal Mile, Edinburgh

<p>The Royal Mile in <a href="/contikipedia/articles/edinburgh">Edinburgh</a> is a stretch of four ancient streets between Castlehill to Canongate which formed the main thoroughfare of medieval Edinburgh. The Royal Mile is home to the new <a href="/contikipedia/articles/parlament-house-edinburgh">Scottish Parliament House</a>, St Giles Cathedral and the <a href="/contikipedia/articles/holyrood-palace-edinburgh">Palace of Holyroodhouse</a> (the Queen&#8217;s official Scottish Residence) among others.</p>
