Occasionally, on any given Contiki tour, there may be a theme party.
These parties are never compulsory and are often a good excuse to meet and socialize with not only people from your own tour, but also other tours in a fun, social setting.
Sightseeing and making the most of your travel experience is, of course, our number one priority on all of our tours and unless there is a free night, parties are not planned.
Generally speaking, you are more likely to experience theme parties on European Concept/Budget Tours or Camping Tours, but there are no rules as to when, where and on what tours you may encounter theme parties.
Party occasions and themes are at the discretion of your Contiki Crew so they can co-ordinate with other tours and themes are never planned more than a few days in advance.
There’s no need to pack anything special as you (and your Contiki Crew for that matter) won’t know if you’ll have any theme parties or what the theme may be until you are well and truly on tour.
