Contiki strongly recommends all clients be adequately covered for Medical Insurance, Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance prior to their tour departure.

Medical and hospital treatment is not free to visitors. It is compulsory for all clients to be adequately covered by Medical Insurance prior to their tour departure. If you have any important medical conditions you must inform Contiki through your travel agent (otherwise directly) before your departure and be sure to bring a more than adequate supply of and medicines you may need during the tour.

We also recommend that clients take out insurance coverage against loss of money and personal belongings including luggage. This should also include damage to baggage and possessions.

Travel insurance can be obtained when you book through Contiki, through your travel agent or through insurance companies themselves.
