Tuscany (Italian: Toscana) is a region of north-western Italy famous for it’s food, beautiful rolling hills, wine and relaxed liberal lifestyle. The famed Tuscan lifestyle is famed in books and movies like ‘Under the Tuscan Sun’ and has a reputation as being one of the most beautiful and romantic parts of not only Italy, but the world.
Places Contiki Visits in Tuscany:
- Florence – capital of the region, the home and capital of the Renascence.
- Pisa – home to the iconic Leaning Tower.
- Sienna – beautiful medieval city famous for its festivals and horse racing.
- San Gimignano – the most well know of all the villages in the Tuscan hills.

I bought a high sierra duffel bag - it has a zip down panel on the back and you can pull out the back pack straps…I also have a laptop back pack…
A tip for people looking for a decent coffee shop.. if you don't already know about it, you will because most Contiki travellers find out about it - its The Grasshopper. Ask a local and they should be able to tell you where to find it.
MOMA is well worth a visit, and if you're short on cash, has free entry between 4pm-8pm on Friday nights. It does get very crowded though...
