Aussie’s hottest 3 day music, arts & youth culture festival is back for 2013 & the only way to do it is with Contiki. Splendour is not-to-be missed, each year serving up an awesome up the best of international & home grown talent, so you’ll experience a line-up that’s second to none on the festival circuit.

Today, we depart for Byron Bay. If you've chosen to start in Sydney, we'll leave from the Holiday Inn Potts Point at 6:00am, if you're starting in Brisbane it's a 12:00 noon departure from the Brisbane Transit Centre, or if you're starting in the Gold Coast we'll pick you up from the Gold Coast Airport Coach Meeting point at 2.00pm. If you are meeting us in Byron Bay, we will meet you at Nomads Backpackers on Lawson Lane at 4.15pm.

We make heading to Splendour totally easy - you've got comfy hostel accommodation included, plus daily transfers between Byron Bay centre and the festival grounds. It couldn't be simpler!

Our tip: Load up your iPod before you go with some of the bands from the 2013 line-up - so you’re totally ready to rock on arrival.

Byron Bay is legendary – as a haven for those who love the good times, it’s the perfect location for festival fun, especially with its new idyllic, permanent home at North Byron Parklands.

Each morning you’ll wake up for a day packed full of festival goodness. You’ll start the day out right, our included hot breakfasts ensure you’re ready to hit the festival grounds & get involved.

Over the three day festival, the line up goes off - Over the three day festival, the line up goes off - acts this year include the likes of Mumford & Sons, The National, Frank Ocean, Empire of the Sun, Klaxons, Babyshambles, Polyphonic Spree, Fat Freddy's Drop, Jake Bugg and many many more - there’s loads to suit all tastes & this years festival is going to rock! Make sure you check the line up each day, so you know what’s happening when. Or, if keeping it flexible is your thing, keep your ears peeled for great gigs going on & go with the flow.

When you’re taking a break from the music, don’t miss the amazing art that the ‘Splendour in the Arts’ Program is famous for. With street art, digital projections, installations & more, there’s loads going on when you’re not hanging out stage-side.

If moving your feet is the way you like to do it, then head to the Tipi Forest & dance the day away. If the cultural feel is what you’re looking for, then check out the likes of the Global Village to get your fix of sensory delights!
