European Escapade » Review by stacey8614
I can safely say that I've never had so much fun. I saw some incredible things, met amazing people and actually learnt loads too. :)
A few pointers though - if you're taking this tour during the summer, you could probably get away with a sleeping bag liner (I never opened my sleeping bag the whole time).
During "drive days" you'll stop to eat at fancy road-house style places. Sometimes the meals there can be a little bit pricey rather than just getting an easy sandwich. It can end up taking it's toll on your wallet!
Invest in a really good camera. You'll want those memories to be amazing when you're showing them off to friends. I recommend the Olympus XZ-1 or the Canon IXUS 310 HS. See that beautiful Venetian shot to see what I mean!
Definitely, *definitely* do the paragliding optional. I'm afraid of heights, but the pilots were all really lovely guys and put us at ease. The actual flight down felt like the most amazing roller coaster experience ever. You can take your camera up with you and video the whole thing if you want too!!
