This was my first ever trip with Contiki, and going to Europe as well. I had such an amazing experience, not only with the group I was travelling with but with all the places we has visited. I arrived early into London so had a couple days of exploring on my own before meeting with the group and checking into the Hotel. Throughout the trip, there was definitely lots of rain, but I went prepared with rain boots. The only thing I would want to do differently next time, is to pack a little lighter! We stayed in cozy and comfortable hotels every night, so there was a lot of carrying our luggage to and from the coach each morning and night. We were always provided with a continental breakfast in the morning, and the dinners that were provided always gave lots of option to choose from; especially when it came to having the option to try traditional foods from the area. Our tour manager and bus driver were so, absolutely amazing and super friendly. It was so easy to be able to sit and have a drink and talk life with them. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone, and I can't wait until I can book my next Contiki trip =D

The tour is great for a first time traveller, you get to see a lot throughout Scotland, it's beautiful and worth every second. Tour guide and driver were great made everyone comfortable. Was only a short trip so you have to expect a lot of coach time. Some days we were on the coach all day excluding the required stops.
Because it's the uk some of the hotels were old and didn't have elevators so make sure you are okay to carry your suitcase up the stairs. Sometimes it's the best option as some of the elevators are slow and slightly terrifying. All accomodation was nice though, no complaints.
This trip was great for giving me a look at the UK defiantly makes me wants to go back for more.

It was an awesome Trip with loads to see! The optionals were worth every Penny! Harry Potter fans get to see the cafe where she wrote Harry Potter or the graveyard with the characters names... Went for a dip in Loch Ness, fun but very cold ( 2 degree Celsius)... Scottish night with bagpipper was fun and the ghost walk in York was creepy but fun! Great group of people and a amazing contiki Team!

Wow, what a trip this was! I think I fell in-love with every stop on the tour. It was the perfect way to see some beautiful and fascinating locations in England and Scotland. I even enjoyed the quick hour break stops we had too. Liverpool and Scotland (as a whole) had to be some of my favorite times on the tour. If I had it my way I would go again!

the England and Scotland trip was fantastic. I don't think that there was a single day where I didn't have at least two drinks. everywhere we visited was lovely the night life in Bristol, Edinburgh and Liverpool was amazing. Bath was beautiful and I had lovely High Tea at the Jane Austen Museum Tea Room, it was lovely. The scenery is lovely all along the way, especially in the highlands. also a group of us went swimming at Loch Ness, and that was quite the thrilling experience. our Tour guide Mike was epic, and organized a ton of extras for us, I loved that. we also tried some pretty crazy food including wild Boar burger, chicken liver parfait, and haggis which was surprisingly good, however one of the hotels had haggis with breakfast, and it wasn`t very good at all. the tour was fantastic and it`s not just the sights that made it, the people were fantastic too. i would recommend this trip to anyone, and I plan on returning to many places that we visited sometime in the future.

This tour of England and Scotland was just brilliant!!
The tour manager and bus driver were great, the tour manager really knew her way around the place we were going, and it was fantastic to have mini-history lessons about the places we were visiting!!
The tour had a great mix of people and really had something for everyone - whether it was culture, shopping or partying!! The optional tours were great - definitely recommend doing them ALL, and make sure you get out and about as much as you can!
Cannot reccommend it highly enough!!

Awesome! Lots of free time(which is the most important thing to me). It was winter so it was REALLY cold--make sure you come prepared! The food was different but delicious...definitely worth the cheap price.

A GREAT first time trip. Met great people, had an awesome time and learnt some awesome things! I wish it could've been a little bit longer but it was still good none the less. Sometimes it felt a little over whelming to be cramming so much into only a short amount of time but it would've been boring other wise.
I wish I could do it all over again!
