Tastes of Latin America

Experimenting with new foods when you travel is one of the best parts of the adventure. From succulent Argentinian steak & sizzling Brazilian BBQs, to fresh Peruvian ceviche (cold seafood marinated in lemon juice.) The food in Latin America is as varied as the places you visit. From jungle sauce in Peru, through to Cohinita Pibil in Mexico there is something new to try everywhere you go. And if you’re game, try ‘Cuy Frito’ – Crispy Fried Guinea Pig – it has to be tried once when in Latin America.

Relax with a drink

The European café culture is huge in Latin America, so getting a good caffeine fix won’t be hard to find. And if you’re after something a little more refreshing, sipping a Caipirinha, Pisco Sour or Chicha (traditional corn beer) is an experience in itself.

Make a different kind of friend

There is nothing like exploring the jungles of Latin America & spotting some unique and individual creatures you won’t see anywhere else. Check out piranha fishing, spot amazing toucans and macaws overhead that will leave you wide eyed, and snap some pictures with cute llamas up at Machu Picchu.

Colorful souvenirs

You’ll pick up some amazing treats in Latin America. There is a big culture around local arts and crafts available in many of the streets and markets we visit. The silver jewelry is traditionally beautiful, and then there’s the wool and clothing hangings made up of the most vibrant colors imaginable. You won’t go home empty handed.
