If you don’t need to see what you’re drinking, 4100 Bar could be your spot.

Located just off the main drag in Silver Lake, the bar is super low lit. In fact, it’s barely lit at all.

From the outside, it kind of looks like a total dive, but inside it’s a pretty good looking place with a kind of Arabic tinge. There are beat up couches, booths and lots of room to sit at the bar, so whether you’re flying solo or with a big group of buddies there’s a seating arrangement for whatever the vibe.

The bar staff is friendly and capable, but beware: they are very generous with their free-pouring.

Word is that it’s a bit of a hipster hangout, but with a playlist that is made up of jams by Prince, Hall and Oates, Notorious B.I.G. and Guns’n’Roses you can’t be too mad.
