5 Things You’ve just gotta do in Colombia

Kick back and relax in this super cool country

1 – Get your culture fix in Bogota

Bogota is fast becoming one of the ‘must visit’ cities of the world and it’s easy to see why. A bustling mix of old, new, trendy, traditional, stately and charming, this city has something for everyone. Explore the Palace of Justice, the Colombia Congress and the Gold Museum, or rub shoulders with the artists and hipsters of the city in super fashionable Chapinero. Whether you’re looking for party vibes, history lessons, architectural wonders or just a good time, Bogota ticks all the right boxes.

2 – Taste coffee in Armenia

Love coffee? You’re in for a treat. Colombia is world famous for its coffee beans, and a trip to Armenia will take you right to the very heart and soul of the industry. Explore the lush green scenery of the plantations and learn about the entire journey of the bean, from seedling to coffee cup and everything in between. Trust us, a cup of coffee will never taste so good.

3 – Kick back in the Tyrona National Park

Few beaches take your breath away like the ones at Tyrona National Park. Think rugged coastlines, wild jungles and epic mountain-scapes (basically think of Lost). Keep an eye out for some of the Kogi tribe residents, or explore the promised lands on mule or horseback. Whatever your adventure flavour, you’ll be seriously wowed by this paradise setting.

4 – Party in Medellin

Once the black sheep of the country, Medellin is quickly becoming one of the jewels in Colombia’s crown. Boasting a great restaurant scene, some seriously trendy bars and nightclubs where you can shake it all night. El Poblado is the district to head to, with many of the city’s most popular night spots located here? Our tips? Try out El Blue Medellin, B-Lounge or Babylon Disco and party ON!

5 – Explore super vibrant Cartagena

With its cobbled streets, bursts of colour at every turn and vibrant locals, Cartagena is the perfect place to really get into the swing of real Colombian life. Take a traditional horse and cart ride around the city or just kick back at the famous Café del Mar, fresh fruit juice in hand, and revel at the spectacular Caribbean coastline. Life will never seem sweeter.

Convinced on Colombia? Then we’ve got a tour just PERFECT for you! Check it out here and start your Colombian adventure today.
